Anand K. is currently a Ph.D. Research Scholar in English at St. Teresa’s College (Autonomous), Ernakulam. He has taught at several premier institutions like Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Maharaja's College, UC College, IGNOU, Govt. Polytechnic etc., since 2013 along with being a soft skill Trainer (promoted to Trainer of the Trainers) under ASAP Kerala, a state government skill development initiative, and brings with him wide academic and training experience in communication, language, and learner development. He has also carved a niche as corporate trainer, specialized in GD and interview techniques. He also serves as a language expert in the interview panel of Union Bank of India.
He was honoured with the Innovative Teacher Award by the Rotary Club of Madras Coromandel and was the joint winner of the Teacher Stories short story competition organized by Oxford University Press and SPELT. His editorial and literary contributions include Potpourri: Tales and Poems from India, Noukalpi and Other Stories in Translation, and forewords to God’s Smile (short stories) and Vazhivilakkukal (poetry collection).
As a trainer, Anand has conducted numerous workshops on public speaking, team communication, and presentation skills, blending academic research with interactive, activity-based methods. His doctoral research focuses on enhancing English language skills through digital tools and learner autonomy—an approach that informs his engaging and practice-oriented teaching style.
