Inauguration of 2019-20 Bhavan's NIPM Student Chapter was held at the campus in the presence of leading luminaries from the field of HR in the State.

Bhavan’s Students felicitated

Rotaractor's of Bhavan's Royal Institute of Management were recognised for the contribution during the Kerala Flood at a grand event organised by Rotary Kochi United. Sri Mohammad Hanish, IAS, MD of KMRL was the chief guest, and the meeting was presided by Dr. Renju Jose, President .

1) Students and staff members in association with anbodu kochi, Rotaract Club of Cochin East and Rotary Kochi United volunteered for the Ernakulam collector's call center, the students displayed excellent maturity and commitment in attending and analyzing calls and prioritizing them, working continuously for up to 24 hours. The students considered this opportunity to associate with the cause as one amongst the most unforgettable and invaluable experience in their life.

2) The student's committee decided to cancel the year's Onam celebration and use the collected fund worth Rs 15000/- to extend support to the inmates of rescue camps by providing them with necessary materials.

3) All the members of staff contributed a day's salary to the cause

Our Dean Prof (Dr) Rajagopala Nair, was the invited resource person for the faculty training program on GST organised by Academic Staff College, Calicut University on 20th of July 2018.

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, always believes in recognizing the contributions made by all of its stakeholders. Bhavan’s Royal Institute of Management honored two of its staff members, who have successfully completed 10 years of service with Bhavan’s. The dean in presence of all staff and students of Bhavan’s Royal Institute of Management recognized the valuable service rendered to the institute by Mrs. Smitha Rajappan, Assistant Professor and Mr. Sajeevan K, Member of Non-teaching staff.

The students of the third semester, who will be commencing there internship on 1st June 2018 were offered a pre internship training session by Mr. Aravind Warrier - Senior Human Resources Manager at RapidValue and alumni of Bhavan’s Royal Institute of Management.

Bhavan’s Faculty at KMA Annual convention

Ms. Smitha Rajappan, and Mr. Girish S Pathy, Asst. Professors, attented the two day Annual convention of Kerala Management Association. The two days were exceedingly enriching, with a line up of 25 prominent speakers from across the country, with expertise in varied fields.

Youth Convention to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Rotract Movement Programme - Y- Brand 2018

Four of our student Rotractors, Ms.Anupama Lal, Ms.Amrutha Vinod, Ms. Nithya Chandran and Ms. Arsha Kommath attented the two day programme - Y-brand 2018 hosted by Rotract club of Kalladikode, held at Palakkad on 19th May 2018. The program was attended by prominent Rotarians and around 80 Rotractors and non- Rotractors of various institutes from Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The two days of fruitful learning with a mix of activities including class room sessions, team building programs, cultural activities, campfire, was focused on developing the professional and leadership skills of the students.

Session by Progno Financial Planning Systems

On May 22nd 2018 the students of the 3rd semester were given a two hour session by officials from progno financial planning systems Pvt. Ltd. The session was aimed at explaining the importance of money management, and to understand one’s finances so that they can achieve their life objectives. The organization also offered an opportunity for students to participate in an ‘Earn while Learn Program’ wherein students are involved in bringing awareness among the salaried as well as business class about the need for financial planning and provide a platform to perform financial analysis and ensure financial security to the respondents.

YODHA Group 1 Group Forum

The Rotaract Club of Bhavan’s Royal Institute of Management hosted the Rotaract Group 1 Group Forum for district 3201 (Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore), ‘Yodha’, on 17th February 2018, Saturday. The event was chaired by Group Rotaract Representative Rtr. Shyam Prakash and Kerala Co-ordinator Rtr. Venugopal G Pradeep. The event started with the official inauguration by Dean Dr. Rajagopala Nair and key address by the event chair. It was followed by an ice-breaking session of treasure hunt organized by the college’s Rotaract Club. Later, the GRR conferred Special Recognition badges on outstanding performers for the Group. The college Rotaract President, Rtr. Adith Chand and event chair, Rtr. Visakh Ram Mohan was conferred the same, among others. The post lunch session included an interactive session by founder CEO of StartUp Village, Mr. Sijo Kuruvila which provided the members a unique opportunity to get in touch with the mastermind behind Kerala’s entrepreneurial overdrive. The event concluded with the closing remarks of the event chair and the event secretary thanked the gathering.




Ira’18-Annual Sports Meet & Run for a Cause

The year 2018 in campus activities had a befitting opening with the Ira’18 , the Annual Sports Meet.The inter-house competitions was dynamic with active participation from staff and students.

The Sports Meet culminated with a “Run for a Cause” on the theme of the year,” health for all and wealth for the nation” on 20-01-2018.The run was formally inaugurated by Hon.Director of Bhavan’s Kochi Kendra, Sri.E Ramankutty Warrier by lighting the Sports Day torch and was flagged off by Sri.Sanal, Sub-Inspector, Hill Palace Police Station. The run for a cause started from Irumbanam ,covered nearby places and ended at the College ground.

The installation ceremony of the Rotaract Club of Bhavans Royal Institute of management was held on 14 December 2017.The program commenced with a prayer at 3.30 pm. Dr. Rajagopola Nair, Dean of the Institute welcomed the guests and the club was inaugurated by lighting the lamp. As an official introduction, Rtn. Kishore presented a brief report on the various activities organized by the club and administered Rotaract oath to 65 new Rotaractors & wished them with bright future. Arabind Chandra Shekar, the president of Rotary, acted as the Installation Officer at the function and he installed Mr. Adith Chand as the president of Bhavans Royal Institute of Management for 2017-18. It was followed by the acceptance speech by Mr. Adith Chand. The following students were sworn in as office bearers of the club for the academic year 2017-18: Mr. Adith Chand, President; Ms. Jubiya Romwald, Vice President; Ms.Achla Anoop, Secretary; Mr.Vishak Ram Mohan, Vice Secretary; Ms.Priya M ,Treasurer; Ms.Ganga B, Club service; Mr. Udith Uday,Director of community service; Mr.Isac Varghese, Director of Professional service; Mr. Sidharth S Kumar, Director of International service; Mr. Ashlin Cleetus, Editor; Ms. Malavika Menon, PRO and Ms.Anupama Lal, Sergeant at Arms. Rtn.Venugopal Menon was the chief guest on the occasion. He addressed the gathering. Afterwards Mr. Girish S Pathy introduced the special invitee, key note speaker Rtn.Meena Viswanath. Madam Viswanath in her address elaborated on plethora of service opportunities management students would get through Rotary and Rotaract clubs.She inspired and guided the students on how to organize Rotaract Club activities.
Achla Anoop, the Rotaract secretary delivered the vote of thanks. It was followed by National Anthem. The Rotaract president, Mr. Adith Chand adjourned the meeting at 5.00pm.
